Job Summary: Our team is expanding and we are seeking an AUDIO VISUAL INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN to join our amazing Integration team. The primary role of this position will be in performing installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, terminating racks, mounting projectors and screens.
This position will be based out of our Saskatoon office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review Bill of Materials, Drawings, Project Scope and prepare for site activities Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables Install AV equipment in rooms and in racks Install projectors, screens, monitors, speakers
Work with a team or alone to complete AV installations
Willing to work overtime as needed (time in lieu) to meet promises to clients
Skills and Abilities: Must be clean, organized and detail oriented Ability to operate basic hand tools (drills, hammer, wrenches)
Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts
Education and/or Experience: Some education in Electronics, Broadcast or a related field preferred
Some Networking/IT background preferred
Bondable, clean driving record The following trade certifications would be considered an asset: Some Avixa Certification, WHMIS, fall arrest, scissor lift and other safety Certifications
Industry recognized training: Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante
