Marketing Specialist

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in our Halifax, NS office.
We are looking for an individual to provide corporate support to CBCL’s Business Development, Marketing and Sales strategies. The successful candidate will play an integral role in creating and supporting marketing strategies that will promote the long term growth and success of the firm across the various sectors and geographical areas in which we operate.
Your Key Responsibilities: Provide support to CBCL’s overall business development, marketing and growth strategies Administer the Client Relationship Management (CRM) software tools including training and promotion of its use Maintain and enhance CBCL’s online presence including website and social media platforms Coordinate the development of communications, news releases, newsletters, and articles Identify, coordinate, and maintain up to date and relevant promotional materials and other collateral materials as appropriate to align with current marketing trends Identify and support corporate public affairs including coordination of industry events, conferences, symposiums, trade missions, and other strategic functions Maintain, analyze, and report on effective metrics to determine the cost and performance of sales, marketing, and business development activities Identify and coordinate opportunities for enhancing business development, marketing and sales competencies across the organization Develop strategies and opportunities for improvements in Client satisfaction. Support the coordination of business development meetings for select markets, sectors and sub sectors Provide strategic input to support the development and innovative enhancement of proposals, expression of interest submissions, presentations and project team interviews Coordinate corporate award submittals
What you can offer us: 7+ years’ experience in a marketing role in a professional environment Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant degree(s) CMA Certificate(s) or other applicable professional certifications would be considered an asset Ability to work in a collaborative environment Strong organization and prioritization skills Strong communication and presentation skills
